NEP acquires Big Picture, strengthening its Live Events business in Australia and New Zealand

Today NEP Group, the worldwide outsourced technical production partner supporting premier content producers of live sports and entertainment, announced it has acquired Big Picture in Australia and New Zealand.

Today NEP Group, the worldwide outsourced technical production partnersupporting premier content producers of live sports and entertainment,announced it has acquired Big Picture in Australia and New Zealand. Headquarteredin Sydney with additional operations in Auckland, Big Picture is a leadingsupplier of video production and equipment for concert tours, music festivals, broadcast,corporate and special events.

 

Thedeal strengthens NEP’s Live Events business and market standing by adding live entertainment eventcapabilities in Australia and New Zealand, complementing the already strongreputation of NEP’s Mediatec Asia Pacific brand in the region. The deal alsoadds extensive LED screens and flypacks, as well as two outside broadcasttrucks, to NEP’s deep pool of existing global resources.

Owen Davison of MediatecAsia Pacific will continue to run Mediatec Asia Pacific, focusing on live sportingevents, as well as corporate, television, broadcast and special events, in themarket.
