Following the 2023 IBC Show, which drew more than 43,000 attendees from 170 countries - noted here by TV Technology - there’s been plenty to shout about across the industry as we move closer to the fourth quarter of the year.
While Europe and the United States went toe-to-toe over three days northeast of Rome at the 2023 Ryder Cup, NEP Connect and NEP’s Creative Technology were both winners in supporting broadcast coverage and onsite live display.
Helen Jeffrey, International Sales Director for NEP Connect, who has been working with European Tour Productions for nearly 23 years and working on her 11th Ryder Cup, spoke with SVG Europe’s George Bevir.
She explains that this is the second Ryder Cup in Europe with fibre at the course.

As the start of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the world championship for rugby national teams, NEP Group Chief Executive Officer Martin Stewart took to LinkedIn to congratulate all of the teams supporting the global event.
The Rugby World Cup is taking place north of Paris across nine venues, and IBC 365 went behind-the-scenes of the broadcast with a full rundown of technology from Adrian Pennington, while NEP Ireland congratulated its teams on the successful delivery of five game broadcasts at the beginning of the competition.

Prior to the start of the National League Wild Card Series in Philadelphia, Sports Video Group’s Kristian Hernandez interviewed ESPN Remote Operations Specialist Kevin Cleary about mapping out logistics for the Wild Card Round, and how NEP’s tech made their jobs easier.
